Wednesday, July 8, 2009 - At 0724Hrs. the engine and squad were dispatched to 1655 U St. S.E. for the house on fire. Engine 15 arrived to find a 2 story end of the row with heavy smoke from the first and second floor. The Rescue performed the primary and secondary searches both of which were negative and assisted with ventilation. The Engine had the fire knocked down within 15 minutes and began picking up.
