Wednesday, March 3, 2010 - At 0055 this morning the units from Anacostia were dispatched on a box alarm at 2270 Mountview PL. Engine 15 took first due and reported heavy smoke showing from all three floors of a end of the row house. Rescue 3 arrived and performed the primary and secondary searches both of which were negative. The Rescue then assisted with ventilation. Engine 15 was assigned to the attack group and knocked down all fire on the first and second floors. The fire was under control in under 20 minutes and units began clearing the scene in under an hour.
