Wednesday, February 3, 2010 - Units with the Third Battalion Chief were dispatched to 1920 Naylor Road S.E. for an apartment fire. Engine 15 arrived on scene of a three story garden apartment building with nothing showing from the street. While Engine 15 advanced there 400 foot 1 ½ Rescue 3 forced the apartment door and initiated their search finding three unconscious children in the bedroom. The victims were removed and handed over to Ambulance 15 which was waiting on Side (A) of the building placing all the children in the unit, part of the crew from Rescue 3 assisted with transporting, along with EMS 3. All three victims were taken to Children Hospital. Engine 15 made quick work of the fire bringing it under control within minute’s command 3 held 2+2
