Saturday, January 9, 2010 - Units with the Second Battalion Chief were alerted to the 3300 block of Alden Place, NE for a house. Engine 27 arrived to find a two-story middle of the row with smoke showing from the first floor on side Alpha. Units found a fire on an enclosed front porch and quickly extinguished the same, finding some extension to the house. Rescue 3 completed there search which was negative. Command held 1+1
